Abdulmuhyi Bagel Garba, the younger brother of Bauchi State Commissioner of Electricity, Science and Technology Maryam Garba Bagel, posted an emotional tribute on social media to mark six months after his late fiancee passed away.
Hauwa Abdullahi Shehu, a Class 300 student at Gadau Bauchi State University, died in a fatal car accident a month before the wedding, DMB reported.
Nigerian police officers Abdul and Howa were scheduled to marry in Azar, Bauchi State, on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
On Saturday, July 2, Abdulmuhyi wrote on Instagram: "I hope there is visit time in heaven, I will ask if I can see you and tell you what life is like without you. RIP love."
"But some days the pain is worse than the day it happened. May Allah grant you Jannatul Firdausi," he added.
