Olivia Rodrigo Dedicates 'Fk You' Performance to Supreme Court Justice

 On Saturday, June 25, the court granted Dobbs termination of Roe v. Wade published.

The singer was just one of a handful of artists to bring abortion rights to the Glastonbury stage over the weekend, bringing Lily Allen on stage to perform her hit "F**k You".

Rodrigo, 19, said;

"So many women and so many girls are going to die because of it.

"I'm shocked and terrified. I want to dedicate my next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who showed us that in the end they don't care about freedom.

"This song is for the judges: Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh. We hate You! We hate you."

The pair then performed the British singer's 2009 hit, which included the lyrics "F**k you, f-k you very, very much/'Cause we hat your what you do / And we hat your whole teams'.

She added;

"This is actually my first Glastonbury and sharing the stage with Lily is the biggest dream ever.

"But I'm also heartbroken by what happened yesterday in America."

The Glastonbury music protests began on Friday when Phoebe Bridgers interrupted her performance at the festival to deliver a message to SCOTUS. "I had a terrible day," she said between songs.

"Who wants to say 'fuck the Supreme Court' to three people?" Bridges appointed the SCOTUS judge who overturned Roe v after leading the chanting. Wade, "Those old bastards trying to tell us what to do with our damn bodies". When Dobbs' draft decision first leaked in May, Bridges spoke publicly about her decision to have an abortion. "I had an abortion last October while on tour. I went to Planned Parenthood and they gave me the abortion pill. It was easy," she tweeted at the time. "Everyone deserves this kind of access."

Headliner Billie Eilish later added her voice to a chorus of women protesting the decision at the festival. "Today is a very dark day for the women of America," she told the crowd during Saturday night's performance as she introduced "Your Power," a song about "the concept of power and how we can always remember not to The song that owns it". "Abusive."

Bridgers, Eilish and Rodrigo only objected to the Supreme Court's dismissal of what Roe v. Wade had said. Lizzo announced Saturday that she has pledged to donate $500,000 from her upcoming trip to Planned Parenthood, and Live Nation has agreed to match the donation.
